Brian has served as the Head of Global Security for several global corporations overseeing large teams spanning North America and around the world. As a hiring manager of security, investigative, and crisis management leaders, he knows what companies are looking for in transitioning law enforcement and public safety professionals. A former U.S. law enforcement professional and command staff level leader, Brian helped form My Transition Advisors, “Second Career HQ! to help other law enforcement and public safety members transition to rewarding second careers in the private sector. To date, he has helped hundreds of people succeed in achieving rewarding second careers to enjoy a successful and rewarding path in their “life after the badge.”
In addition to completing a full law enforcement career, and serving as a senior private sector leader, Brian is Board Certified in Security Management as an ASIS International Certified Protection Professional (CPP), He serves on the Board of Directors for the New York City ASIS International Chapter, the Board of Directors for the ASIS International CSO Center for Leadership and Development and is a widely recognized industry leader.
His combined experiences and background-position him well to provide expert advice and guidance to anyone seeking to transition from the public to private sectors.

Tammeca is positioned to provide insight from the “other side”, which is vital in crafting your career marketing documents – résumé, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile.
Expertise as a Certified Professional Résumé Writer (CPRW) with a solid background in human resources, provides an advantage because she understands both sides of the business world – the corporation’s perspective and the candidate’s perspective.
As a Certified Résumé Specialist in Military-to-Civilian Transitions, she successfully supported military veterans in transitioning into various career paths and new roles in the federal government and private industry by translating and marketing their extensive and invaluable qualifications in industry-related terms. Now, since joining My Transition Advisors, Tammeca is helping Law Enforcement professionals do the same!
She enthusiastically dived into writing résumés for federal positions and welcomed the challenge of enhancing her capabilities and effectiveness, by crafting Federal Résumés up to the GS-13 level, with a success rate of just over 80% for candidates landing federal interviews or being referred to federal hiring managers.
Tammeca is a professional member of the Professional Association of Résumé Writers & Career Coaches (PARW/CC) where she serves as a Certification Committee Member. She is also a member of Career Directors International (CDI). Formerly, she served as the Youth Leadership Program Coordinator (4 Years), Area Director (1 Year), and Member of Toastmasters International, a non-profit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills.
Tammeca holds degrees from Rutgers University (Bachelor of Science) and University of Maryland University College (Master of Science).
